Functional Biochemical Medicine
Chronic disease is the main factor, which is why patients turn to doctors. Always hoping that there are new and effective therapeutic and healing methods.
Functional Medicine
In functional medicine, the whole person is treated, the entire body and its mental state. His lifestyle is also given great importance.
The aim of treatment is to identify the real cause of a disease or condition and to treat it – tackling it at a root.
Functional medicine is regulation therapy. These include:
- The absorption and absorption capacity of the intestines, lungs and skin
- Energy production in the area of mitochondria
- Communication and transport (hormones, neurotransmitters, nervous system, blood and lymphatic system)
- Biotransformation and detoxification
- The defense and repair system
As part of the functional treatment, the regulatory systems are examined and optimized so that endogenous salutogenesis is activated.
Congress Goal
Through our work, we hope to bridge the fields of medicine and biochemical medicine as a valuable addition to conventional modern medicine for the benefit of the human collective.
As we are called to meet this significant challenge, we are grateful to have the support of the Medical Association of Athens and the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens at the beginning of this journey.
The reward for all of us will be to see more people rejoicing and enjoying the positive and bright side of life, sharing it with their fellow human beings, contributing to create a harmonious and balanced way of life.
